Poster up lamposts??

I see it all the time around me at traffic lights.

I know you cannot sticker on royal mail post boxes and fences and personal peoples etc

and what about on other thing like outside of a construction site?

any reason in particular?

i only thought of it as the builders merchants round here do it aswell as a lot of other companies, the first rule to marketing is getting people to remember you, this would do that

I think unless you have permission from the owner of where ever it is you are putting your flyer / poster it is classed as fly posting and is illegal .

Only the local authority can do this. If anyone else does it then its full on illegal. You can get permission from the authority but its unusual.

inbox me and ill tell u the best way to put stickers up /emoticons/wink.png andd u cant get done for it either mate /emoticons/tongue.png/emoticons/wink.png inbox me cns mate

i have 1 spot where there is a fence down at the end of my road and its a B road so I have 10 000 cars a day going through, and I put up a small vinal poster but I want to get a bigger one for there. I have 3 or 4 free small ones from vista print that I need to find homes for.. they do work but you wont get loads of customers from them... it kinda reminds the locals that walk past everyday to call you

That's they idea, is that my name and slogan will be in the back of their mind, and then so when I go canvassing they will recognize the name and that automatically adds a bit if trust, as they think its a big recognized name.

If that makes sense

Do you know who owns then fence???

Fly-posting is an environmental crime. The law allows our Environmental Crime Enforcement Officers to give anyone seen fly-posting an on-the-spot fine called a fixed penalty notice (FPN). The FPN is for £80, but if you are prosecuted in court for fly-posting you could receive a maximum fine of £2,500.

Good luck!
