Water Usage?

S

Hi lads,

Still pondering over wfp trolley system, regarding how long you get from a 25 litre water container ( I realise speed of flow etc determines how long it lasts,) but can someone give me a ball park figure on how many minutes per bottle you can expect.

Thanks in advance.

Howay the lads.

Hi Sam I'm using a 18 ltr wcw backpack and at the moment I'm doing tops wfp and bottoms trad and can get 2 houses

From 1 refil so judging by that alone you could get around 1.2 to 1.3 houses per 25 litre barrel if you are going solely

Wfp .

But it all depends on how much water you are using per house and how many windows you are washing .

yer all depends on how you have the system set up, flow rate, how good you are etc.

the best i have got out of a 25lt barrel is 3 small terraced house. 7 windows and 2 doors on each.

Sam what your asking is what every new person asks when they start with wfp trolley mate.... no lie but all newbies end up using the full 25ltr container per house /emoticons/smile.png i used to use 40 litres per house nevermind 25ltr : P

Your best of carrying a few containers around with u mate /emoticons/smile.png

cos u start of slow and speeden up

Plus..... cos its going to be a wfp first clean mate your going to go through some amount of water /emoticons/smile.png

a first clean is like doing 2,3 jobs at once /emoticons/smile.png i had a first clean the other day.... and to get by quick.... i put my flowrate on 80 /emoticons/tongue.png and i whizzed past it ... but m ywater went right down... i can do this cos i got 250litre tank in my van

We stock a 16L backpack with variable flow control. Depending on whether you use anything to control the water use (e.g. tap, trigger or Aqua-dapter) and how fast you want to work you might get 3-4 small houses out of one of these, but working with a higher flow rate you're likely to use 8-11L per house.

Hope that helps!

Paul

Because I agreed with it, I understood it and it was informative /emoticons/smile.png

All I would add is that, essentially everyone has to find their own balance for using water, depending on how fast they work.

yep they find their balance after a few months mate /emoticons/smile.png first few months u just learn how to wfp really if u think about it /emoticons/smile.png its not about water usage when u start out on wfp /emoticons/smile.png u just learn the shortcuts etc /emoticons/smile.png
