So guys, how far out is your furthest lot of jobs?

I was thinking of 10 mile radius, reason being is there are nice houses at about that distance lol

Of course ill group them up so I'm know traveling from end to end lol

Just wondering how far out your guys go.

If you are talking about regular cleans then i like to keep the round as local as I can but if there is good money to be had I'm willing to travel anywhere within reason.

I've recently dropped a lot of work and shrunken my radius to around 10 miles but same as other lads if money was right I'd travel further.

I travel 50-60 minutes to my main round. Don't mind the drive as I enjoy going back home 2/3 days a week to Ambleside. Love the mountains.

the licensing up here makes that a bit pointless for us. If I have a couple of weeks worth in another area yeah, I'll go get licences etc. But less than that it is not worth my while.

Within 10 miles here i gotta go back n collect so i try and stay local /emoticons/smile.png xxxxx

That screwed me right over that. 10 mins drive from my house and I need another licence. Pain in the **** as its costs 150 a year

Yip, allot in Glasgow get stung with this, there are loads of different areas up there. IMO the point is to prevent unscrupulous individuals, with a criminal record, for instance for burglary, taking up window cleaning. So why can't is just be one application, that covers all areas of scotland, which you can apply for at any local council.

The reason why its not, is because its more about making money off hard working windows cleaners, than it is about protecting the public.
