4 Weekly Or 6 Weekly

A thread started on another forum, an has turned into a 4 or 6 weekly thread.

I had though that 4 weekly was normal, but it seems that a number of people feel that 6 weekly is a better period between houshold cleans - what do you think?

I did only do 4 but since reading a certain book I've realised the advantages of 6 & 8 weekly so I've started offering them for extra money. I'm adding 25% to 4 weekly quote and 50% to 8 weekly.

I offer 4,6,8 and 12 week cleans, I haven't read said book yet, note to self email said person who wrote said book!!!

But as time between each clean gose up so dose the price! GF

I have about 3 that are 8 weeklys. All my houses are every 2/4 weeks

I don't mess about now as found it uneconomical & difficult to manage so I only offer monthly domestic window cleans.

i guess if you have a lot of customers a 6 week rota would work out. but most people are 4 or 8 week rota

The whole reason I started to offer 8 and 12 weeks but then relised it was like a first clean each time so charge more!

yer true, i had a few that only 4 times a year, and one that is 3 times a year, pain in the back side really!

6 weeks all day. IMO 4 weeks to quick. Got 5 custies on 4 weeks rest on 6 or 2 monthly. Also gives me a bit of leeway if it rains or **** weather.

Ive got loads on every 2 weeks lol. People must be fussy for clean windows up here lol

We have 4 6 and 8..extra money for longer time gaps . normally the bigger houses ask for 8 weeks..in my experience. .

Shops once a week..

Affectivly we have 3 different window cleaning rounds. Its great..4 6 and 8...all full up..well nearly full..

I prefer 8 weeks gives us time for all thr the other services. .

IMO six weekly is no good unless all your work is based on that or a multiple of it. If you base your business on 4/8 weely or like myself monthly/2 monthly then all the work always comes up at the same time, if you then add six weeklys to that you have floating work that can lead to extra travelling time/mileage which is inefficient and disrupts the smooth running of the core work and can even block you from taking new work that better fits your schedule.

All mine is 6 or 8 weeks so as yours comes round on 4 mine comes round on 6. Works the same.
