No Landline Number On Flyer

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Only old folk seem not to like phoning mobile numbers so should not be a real issue in today’s world but for me I prefer to have both.

However don't know about you lads but I've defo seen an increase in travellers going around with sign written vans ripping ppl off so maybe ppl's perceptions on just displaying mobile numbers is changing. No address on websites, flyers etc may also ring alarm bells for some so if you run a legitimate cleaning business then your address should be on all promotional media, paperwork and website too in my book.
it does look better having an address on website and things but another widy mate of mine did this and he got taxi's and pizza's sent to his house all the time form bitter window cleaners.

It is not legal requirement if you are a sole trader, only if your a limited company. But I list mine any way. Why not list it? Surely its better to be up front about who you are.

My thinking exactly, unless you plan on having a bad rep lol

Display the Name

Sole traders that use a business name other than the name of the owner must display the name and address of the owner on all business stationery, as explained by the Startups website. This requirement appears as a necessity so that legal documents can be served on the business premises of the sole trader. Business letterheads, business cards and store signage must be designed in accordance with this requirement.

i have home / mobile number email address web site, just dropped off around 500 flyers not 1 call. but i got £180 + worth of work after knocking after flyer drop off. cant explain why no one phoned up cos they did want them doing. now hopefully regular customers.

other window cleaners will find out who you are and where your from, whether its on your website or not. Smurf do you have a link to that document your quoting. I do display my address on letter heads and my website, but I have never, listed my address on business cards and flyers? surely that is not a requirement.

Personally I try to seperate business and homelife as much as poss, so the mobile is for work and the landline for home. Still get custies calling the home line, I'm in the phone book so not hard to find.

Thats my reasoning for using a mobile number as well, landline and address are on my website if anyone really wants to find them anyway.

I can't use landline anyway as I live with parents so, got to use mobile, looks better though in this day and age, most tradesmen use mobiles too rather then give out landline.
