Cancelled 2 Months On The Bounce

Last month texted customer and she texted back saying please leave this time but do them next time. I texted tonight and she replied please leave this time.

I'm not going to be messed about, so come on you lot, how do I reply? Or do I just not bother to text back and deff it and if she gets in touch say you're off the books ya bint or something similar.

I always feel that if you get in touch before you go, you give them an excuse not to have them done, whereas if you just turn up and start work it's harder for them to cancel.

In hindsight, I should have just turned up. £13.50 short tomorrow because of that :angry:

 
its just one of those things, i have to text about 20-25 on my round to leave gates unlocked etc, and only have one that sometimes says leave it this month, then the next month comes and i text and they have it done, i dont drop them because of it, as i have to drive pasted there door each time on that round to clean 4 house 5 doors away! i just text back ok no problem see you next month

Yeah thats fair enough but twice is a no no.

if it was twice i would still text them the next month and if they say yes this time just let them know that it would cost more this time due to the missed months.

got to train the customers! they miss months the cost goes up

 
Dont text them mate, Unless someone has asked to to specificly do it. Theres no realy need. As you said it gives them a chance to cancel etc.

 
Happened to me dude, and I never txted back after that!

I used to txt like 4 or 5 times afetr that just turn up as they should know when,

But like you say it gives them chance to cancel or post pone, but what can you do, some customers want rememinding like all the time.

ah well, fu*k 'em that's what I say.

 
we all get these clowns ,so itell them to contact me when they want them done and then explain thats is a deep clean as they havent been done in months and will be double the amount .

not really, get an old brush and put some vasaline on it, then go round to clean here windows and that will leave a nice mess for the next guy to get of! lol

 
Ive had this same problem you soon get to find out who leaves the gates open and who's gates you can jump .

Other than that if they cancel twice on consecutive months they are dumped simple !

I need regular customers and a regular income if they can't agree to my terms of business there is no room for them on my round .

It's your business so do what you think is best for you apart from the bit about damaging ppls property /emoticons/smile.png

 
just gotta live with it its part of the window cleaning game we all get it /emoticons/smile.png
