Hi guys just registered to the forum, have been doing my round for 4 years now and have built it up quite well, since ive started have been cleaning the windos using the trad method and my customers are more than happy with my work but recently been contemplating using wfp system but about 50% of my customers are not keen on the idea, is it worth spending the money on the wfp system?

On another note check out mark hendersons bike its awesome, and if you see this mark can you send me tips on how to start a round abroad, thanks for reading guys

Horses for courses here. Both have their upsides and downsides. If you want to change, explain the benefits of WFP to your customers, you'll lose a few but not half.

well i use both but it depends on how you realy want to go stuck in the "dark ages with the same old earning" or you can do "wfp more money more hassel"

Hey Steve, I recently changed my round to wfp tops and trad bottoms.. Out of 600 odd customers I lost 1... They can either like it or lump it.. I'm not climbing ladders the rest of my life.. I told quite a few that I was going to be using it, others I didn't say to, and there's lots that have never even seen me clean their windows before as they are out at work, so they don't even need told....

But I do agree it is best to have both methods...

Trad all the way but wfp is good to. As said both have dis & advantages. Me personally I prefer trad. Up at the window face on I know it's clean but use a backpack to so do use both.

customers prefer wfp more cos of the upvc getting cleaned once they see how good of a job it does they really do like it /emoticons/smile.png

on days like this with all this ice i wish i had a backpack too icey under foot never mind climbing ladders new year im doing what belfast is doing wfp upstairs trad down.

Theres isnt a yes or no answer to this. Its best to have both in my opinion.

There will probably be parts of your round where trad will be quicker although there will be parts where WFP would be quicker. If you do decide to get WFP you can also take on work then you couldn't previously.

best to be able to do both, I'm about 99.9% wfp. insides I trad as customers get upset when I swing my pole around in doors /emoticons/biggrin.png Water fed pole when done properly is the best or I cant trad as good as I can WFP

Had this argument with mate.

its like

when you see those council people, they use a blower, rather then a brush, both do same job, but one is quicker less effort...

They both get the job done, but someone will complain that the blower machine is just plain lazy!

Just like wfp...
