Theirs a window cleaning team with a few vans kitted out down my way they got vivaros and i cheked their setup out and they had 1000 ltr tank in the van!!! The man goes to me their always overloaded in the morning but if they get pulled they just got to empty the tank their and then lol

If they get pulled they won't have chance to unload all that. Once they pull you, it's a case of flagging you down and then bingo.... You can't escape them if they pull you over.

I think e means if they get pulled te police just ask them to unloansome water untill their within the weight limit

How does that happen then  ......... as when they get pulled, they've already broken the law by driving a van which is overweight.

If they're involved in an accident, the authorities won't be turning a blind eye if the vehicle is overweight

but some officers just let you empty it ther and then trust me .... if u have a little bit of banter with them they can be safe /emoticons/smile.png

The thing is if they have an accident and the insurance company find out they will say "Terribly sorry old chap, but you're not insured" It's not clever, it's dangerous and it aint worth it. These guys really pi** me off.

I have the lwb with a 650 litre tank, does me fine
You're probably not. I've a 600 litre tank in mine and it's about 70kg overweight when I start out in the morning. Mine is an Ionics system though with a strong steel cage and all my purification gear inboard.

The vivaro/primastar/trafic has a payload of 1235kg in both swb and lwb, i had to check it out when i was fitting out my wheelie bin van.

Hello Harunha, How would the police know the weight of the load in the van ? it would have to be placed on a weigh bridge to calculate the total weight, and a fine would be most assured. as for the police letting you off for overloding then if no tax or insurance or bald tyres would they let you off !!! i dont think so.... ..Regards Andrew.....
