Cheers RC....was thinking about £400' date='00 WFP to include 1 Saturday to do patio doors when the residents are in.maybe put up a notice in lobby of each block saying "Window cleaner here sat if you want your doors done" other wise it don't get done till next time![/quote']seems a little bit to much, i only charge £400 for 78 flats every 3 months,
seems a little bit to much' date=' i only charge £400 for 78 flats every 3 months,[/quote']But i might have to include 1-2 alternative Saturdays to do patio doors Rich!!
Haha first job tomorrow.£35ph?is that 2 men or just you?

Like I said so, realistically its more like £24 ph and I did a bit of research the other day and most of the contract cleaners are about £40 ph round here I recon. Cost of living near London I Spose, if business doesn't pick up as fast as I want I will re look at it.Haha first job tomorrow.
Fair play lad , can't knock ya for it lol
thats why i would only set one day for the job, if they want it all doing then then will have to make sure i can get access to it all that day, i wouldnt run about for them them, you might have to go back several times to get it all done and if they check and a few people dont get it done they might say that you would have to come back at set times to do them. its not worth the hassle of it to be fair. But i might have to include 1-2 alternative Saturdays to do patio doors Rich!!

give them 2 quotes, one with them included and one without them, if it cheaper for them to get it done without them they might take you up on it!Yeah see where your coming from Rich....sod it i'll tell um 400 take it or leave it
The way I work its is my hourly rate (£35ph for up to two hours' date=' anything over two hours is charged at £30ph as I don't have to travel) then add costs to the here any specific equipment, if your buying equipment then add 20% of the cost of the equipment to the quote. So for example: 7hours work Plus cherry picker hire @ £135 (7x35)+135 245+135 380 I'd prob then go in at £420 and allow them to negotiate.[/quote']Your going to overprice jobs I think, Your just starting out so your not going to be that quick which is going to drive up your cost to meet your 35ph target.
£80.00!!!!! /emoticons/ohmy.png I'm not that desperate to get the job H /emoticons/biggrin.pngid charge 80 quid for that and it would take me less then 3 hours easy /emoticons/smile.png
so its not bad on a hourly rate /emoticons/smile.png
plus... cherry picker ? tell them wfp will do the same job and it will save them a lot of money etc
