Millionaires?

I'm talking about multi millionaires either in net worth or cash rich?' date=' So it is possible then with determination, hard work and time to build a really successful window cleaning company ?[/quote']

I'm still not sure what your definition of a multi millionaire is; having assets or a net worth of £1 million to £2 million would mean you could probably realise £50,000 to £200,000 in cash without having to sell any asset. So you would need £5 million to£15 million in net worth to be able have £500,000 to £1,000,000 in cash.

I like you optimism and ambition, why not go for the easier target of having just 1 million in total assets to begin with!, still a very ambitions target for a window cleaner. as Belfastcleaning has mentioned how much glass would need to be cleaned? These types of figures go well beyond anything I know or understand if you intend to do it as quickly as possible.

Good luck with it anyway, and even if you never reached your target and got a fraction of the way there, it wouldn’t be so bad, would it. /emoticons/smile.png

I think the only way to become a millionaire in this game is to be more of a contract cleaner and do all types of cleaning, get a few office contracts and you'll soon be on the right path.

It all depends on good hard work, time and good staff

If I recall correctly Leicestershire local authority had in the past, 2 separate contracts/tenders both I think running into £hundreds of thousands, these days though I think local authority has to put the tenders out to European tenders as well, if over a certain amount.

Hard work and "Good" staff, and it's hard to get good staff... especially in the cleaning industry.

Yes it is, but its an employers market these days so you can pick n choose, so long as your a good judge of character and follow your guy, you should be able to get good staff, just need to filter through them all

Preparation with work always wins. You will achieve what you prepare for, and work is the only kind of luck you need. It’s much more profitable to do the ‘hard work’ before you go off and clean window all day, everyday, thats easy.

Definitely agree, that why I have spent so much time preparing things like invoice, accounts etc and figuring out how I'm Gona everything.

You can dream all you like lads but no one is going to become a multi millionaire cleaning windows that’s for sure.

Most will fail to earn a liveable wage in the first year and pack it in let alone get rich in this game. Anyone that thinks they can is delusional

So true, people forget about the fact that so many new businesses fail before they get going

quite true but there is always a few exceptions to the rule, im starting a course in feb for industrial chemical cleaning that will run alongside my window cleaning and glazing, been at this for 4 years now and every year making more money than the previous year so hard work, determination and a good buisness head and u can make a good buisness and expand when needed, so who knows :)

Believe it or not I was earning 2k a week over 20 years ago as an IT subcontractor. You would soon get fedup jetting around the world, living out of hotel rooms and hardly ever spending quality time with the family.

Money is not everything you know lads...
