Millionaires?

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I still think a £million is a lot today; the average house price in the UK is £160 thousand and there are only about 8 million home owners in the UK who own there home outright.
So if you do want to be worth a million, and if you do own your house, run a business and have a few other assets, you are already probably 20% there already, you just need to find the other 80%.

You couldn't buy a dog kennel round here for £160,000. Even an ex-council flat would start around £250,000 but nobody in their right mind would buy one to live in. They buy them to rent them back to the council.

I know what you mean, the average price in the South, especially London would be higher, but across the entire country I think it is supposed to be around that figure of £160k. There are a lot of poor people in London, including the ones who are delusional and drink £2 cups of coffee everyday in starbucks. /emoticons/ohmy.png

I prefer visiting London these days, just wouldn’t want to live there again. It’s a great city, but unless you have money its much better to visit, beside you get to actually see and do more of London when you’re visiting.

Lots of workers in London do have a great job title, sometime even a great job, maybe even a lot of responsibility and, or even dealing with a lot of (other peoples) money but they don’t get the money themselves and go home to small flat, and have to park there car 3 streets away from wher they live, if there lucky. /emoticons/biggrin.png

always said i wantedto be a millionaire by the time im 40, i turned 29 at the start of this month so got time! lol

but in all seriousness dont think ive ever had as much savings as i do now, and i used to earn a nice screw wen i was window fitting, i know a guy in my town ( friend of my dads ) who started up in 1975 with not 1 customer and by 1980 he had 6 blokes working for him and by 1990 he had 15 windys on the books, now hes branched out into office cleans and domestic cleans, he now has 25 windys working for him and about 50 girls that clean for him and he is a MULTI millionaire! real down to earth bloke aswell often sends a bit of work my way, he even used to clean shops for FREE! if other windys were in the area trying to take his work untill they went elsewhere ( u cant compete with a free clean now can u lol )

so post this again in 11 years and i,ll let u know wat it feels like to have a million in the bank! lol
How you getting on ? Close to your millions?

I'm just intrested to see if anyone has became a millionaire through doing the windys?

Obviously boys like Greig Avinou etc have got to be proper millionaires just intrested to see if there are any real rags to riches storys?

:)
I know 2 that have become financially successful. Both company's are million dollar company's with multiple crews.

Years of hard work and dedication is what it takes.
