Clearing Blocked Gutter Corners

How would you go about clearing this blocked gutter corner?

Put latex gloves on, lift the tiles, get it out by hand and recommend they fit a down pipe there. I'm sure you could do that yourself or arrange for a 'friend' and make a few quid on top! Simples!

Oh, I would plug our roof cleaning and coating service too as it looks like moss would be a recurring problem.

Cant tell how high that is but id use a ladder with stand off and get in there with bucket and gloves

Did you notice what the gutters are made of?

Old steel gutters by look of em so thats why id use a stand off on the ladder so you dont touch the gutters

Gutters are made from Asbestos so would you clear them or not?

Never heard of Asbestos Gutters before , hmmmmmmmm, i probably wouldnt on balance unless some expert telt me it was safe and ok too go ahead

Learn somethin new every day lol , Only guttering ive ever seen up here are steel or plastic or aluminium , i reckon be safe enough as long as you wore gloves and didnt disturb the gutters too much !!!

good find rc ,years ago when working on a building site a company who specialised in asbestos removal came in and done the work ,they were on site for 2 weeks and charged big bucks as the waste had to be sent to germany to be disposed of

Funny how my local council gave me a job as a bricklayer a long time ago then spent my first week replacing asbestos guttering with plastic. Back then may I add without any ppe or asbestos hazardous control measures in place. How times have changed /emoticons/biggrin.png

I'd google the Ppe and clean by hand but recommend they replace ... Is that the right thing to do smurf??

Most would refuse to clear asbestos guttering but after a full inspection the inside of the guttering was still in good condition so was a minimal risk to clear out by hand. /emoticons/wink.png

Lets just say the custy made it worth my while /emoticons/biggrin.png
