Couple off pics of my van setup, bought the van off a fella in Chesterfield too get intae the window cleaning business, its a 650 litre Facelift tank, shuriflow 100psi pump too a 110ah leisure battery with a split relay charger, he fitted a gas water heater from Poisedon Products which seems to work fine but flow needs to be quite high i noticed (over 75) for it too light up, as he was garage ro i got him to fit a di bottle and resin for me for my luckily soft water up here, got a gardiner 27 pole from him and since bought a Brodex Hydra 36, got two 100m hose and reels and all off him, need a lick of paint but work well, been buying a few bits and bobs , bought some O clips and spare minibore fittings , some trad cleaning gear and bucket some taps and spare battery and pump too have ready for action, so apart from my frinds and familys windows ive been cleaning a few wheelie bin customers windies tae practice on and feedback good so far, hot water works well on first cleans, so door knocking and leafletting starts Monday as we do our wheelie bin rounds, wish me luck and good hunting lol , any tips or observations from the van greatly appreciated.

Does anybody know what model heater this is and does it have a drain valve for letting water out before frost nights

Having a connect with a 250 ltr tank and no heater looks great for space and productivity slightly jealous even lol poiseden have a web site and do a frost stat kit so on cold nights the heater kicks in keeping everything warm and ready to work never tried any of this by the way just what I've read seems a good idea

Personally would take the boiler cover off the white front get the model name from inside the boiler and search ideas from there

Get a fire extinguisher, just to cover yourself really. Couldn't see one.

Looks good though bud.

If you have the time. Strip down the hose reels and get the frames powder Coated. Don't cost a fortune.

Poiseden have gone tits up by sound of it, anyway they aint that expensive so i may get one to sit in garage as a spare

Damo , i have one fitted under the dual passenger seat in front off van , didnt think it would be any good having it were fire might possibly start, what ya think?

Check under the seats before buying the extinguishers some blue chip company's that tend to own vans before windys get em carry em as standard eg British gas etc not always the case but worth a peek

It's more to cover yourself in the event of insurance co's asking questions.

Don't put it in the rear lol, if a fire started in the rear you probably couldn't get to it.

Its under the front seats so be fine there, i reckon if fire starts ill be vacating the van sharpish and running in opposite direction anyway haha

If you could get hold of the instructions, or know a plumber, you may find that there is a flow valve (usualy a little screw) in one of the pipes inside.

If it does have one you can then turn down the flow before it lites-up.
