48 notes inc postage mate. It's got a scraper and pole attachment with it. Got jet hose and pole hose connector with it too, which I wasn't expecting /emoticons/smile.png

Hope you like the brush as much when you use it Steven.

I have never advertised these brushes, just mention occasionally when I talk to people; it’s my favourite Boars Hair brush.

I sometime even use this brush for maintenance cleans, especially when you start to get more insects marks on the windows; this brush works easier than many other makes of monofilament brushes, just make sure you use at least 2lt a minute to get the brush gliding over the windows, a bit more would be better, you will work faster if you don’t have to fight the brush and being 100% Boars Hair it will remove everything pretty much instantly, you will need to rinse a little, but not for long with a decent flow rate.

When you want another brush mate I will jet it for free, so you just need to order the un-jetted brush for £32.89

Cheers, Richard

Is that one of them tecbuk brushes ?

I tried one just before Christmas it ay a bad brush to use .

A lot softer than the one I have been using from ionics but a very nice brush to use still .

Richard' date=' what is the difference with this boars hair and my boars hair which is full length brown ?[/quote']
Hi Andy,

This brush is a Duel Trim.

I use the Black bristles, just because I like to try something new. The inner shorter bristles originally were longer than the outer longer bristles. The reason for this is if you cut a longer bristle it will be stiffer. The aim was to make a faster Boars Hair brush.

The popular Boars Hair brush in the past 2 months is the new longer bristles Duel Trim version, not my cup of tea personally, but people work differently. This brush has a huge 30% plus extra coverage on the glass. It looks huge compared the standard, or shorter bristle versions.

Richard

Smurph it's 340 grams dry with all the bits and pieces in the pic.

I think you scales are out Steven; I weighed that brush before I sent it to you all these brushes typically weigh about 235-240g brush stock only, the weight of your brush in the picture, with all the bits, would be around 290g.

Richard

@ Richard, yep scales are out. Weighing less on mine now.

If anyone needs a new brush get in contact with Richard, very helpful and polite. This fella deserves to go far in his venture!

Thanks Steven,

I won’t be the first time the weight of a Tecbuk brush has been weighed incorrectly and then posted on a forum, it's bound to happen again.

For any one who is interested: The weight of each Tecbuk brush can be different; typically Tecbuk brushes weigh on average 245g without any other parts attached.

If you want to get a sense of this weight, a small block of butter that you pay £1-£1.50, weighs 250g, have a look in the fridge, or try picking one up in the supermarket, to get a feel of the weight.

Richard

Funny that richard as mark also put one of your brushes on his scales which are heaver than you say

This one was 335 grams so is marks scales wrong too?

Tecbuk brushes weigh on average 245g, Smurf

The 2 brush nuts for the fixed head weigh 10g, I could put on the lower heights nuts I use for the SideTrack 2 of those only weigh about 1g. It’s not all about weight, especially when it’s only a few grams and the overall brush weight is low anyway.

The Tecbuk fixed brush head with scraper weighs about 20g more than your typical cheap plastic version you can buy for £0.35p. I put quality first over a few extra grams.

It the same thing with the bristles count, I won’t make a lighter brush at the expense of losing bristles, what’s the point in doing that, any window cleaner earning decent money wont put up with it.

Cheers Richard
