Annoying!

Was ment to post this earlier but been busy looking after the wife (think shes milking this ivf a bit lol)

Now im fully aware that we as window cleaners know that on a residential round you are going to get customers that are not always in when you turn up to clean which doesnt bother me at all as do all my collections on a friday evening but theres this one couple that are always there ive been cleaning there for about 3 years, they know i come every 4 weeks and this house is a bit out the way for me but there good friends with one of my existing customers (how i got the job) but every time i turn up and start cleaning the old boy always comes out "got no cash mate wasnt expecting you, can u call back later"

me: "can take a cheque bud"

him:"prefer paying cash really mate"

so i just collect on a fri night but come on he knows i come every 4 weeks, youd just mark it on the calender and get the money out for the start of the week if u insist on paying cash!

and he keeps calling me chris!!!!

told him my names steve about 10 bloody times!!!

known him now for 3 years lol

any of u lot got any annoying custies then?

only doing mates houses at mo and my own but keep getting the woman across road shouting for me to do hers but I know she hides behind the settee when the windy comes cause he told me when he used to collect off me I think she's going to have to pay soon cause the windy don't look too happy but keep the chin up chris lol

chris lol! by the sound of it id stay well clear of the house across the road if she does stuff like that, anyway keep up the good work and you,ll soon build your round up newbe789 lol!

I have a couple like that I just take no notice now lol ive culled my round now that much that if I carry on I will have none left .

But still I have 60 customers @ 10k a yr lol so not all bad .

have been really tempted to just buy a round but haven't for three reasons one there's non advertised anywhere within decent distance and worried that I may be. Buying a 100 or so just like that and lastly no tax relief on what you pay out for goodwill

i brought my round off my brother in law when he moved to France and to be honest u dont get many customers like this and this couple wernt even on the round when i brought it as i added them, if youve got the cash and see a decent round go for it as u can always add more customers to it and youve already got your bread and butter customers so worth thinking about bud

plus existing customers on the round u buy may get u more work aswell

If u dont wanna take a customer ontell them your fully booked or say to them i need payment for 3 cleans upfront /emoticons/smile.png this will always work
