Using A Belt Bag Effectively

I have a cleaning pouch but is it good? I worry it's not big enough! It has two pouches. And clips over my belt which has the 'bucket on belt' on it. In one of the pockets I put the sill clothes in and the 12 inch and 6 inch sqeegees. The other pocket the scrim and micro fibre. But feel it may be too small? If i want to get my sill cloth have to take out the squeegees and it's a pain. Also the sill cloth pouch is so full it makes it hard to get scrim in and out of other pocket! Want to speed up so think need to get this right.

The pouch belt thingee is an Unger.

Also I put all my equipment in a plastic container which goes in my car boot. The bucket is in the front with the bucket in a belt and other stuff especially if wet. The dry scrims and sill cloths go in plastic bags behind. And other equipment behind. Is this well organised?

The bucket on a belt is **** for squeegees, they always fall out! At least in pouch they stay there. There's a loop in belt which six inch squeegee can go in but not 12 incher.

Yeah u wanna be using BOAB bud really to hold your applicator and squeegee, easier when up ladders(if u use them)

If u find the pouch too small just buy another, i have 2, one for glass cloth and detailing cloth and another for cill cloths.

Oh and dont wear the pouch at the front, looks a lot cooler wore at the back! lol :)

Then ya not using it right mate, is it at front, side, back, is it bouncing about too much.

I modded my boab and now the 6" I use I slide handle right to end of channel, it doesn't effect how I use it or how well it works as it's so short anyway so it sits in the boab better. 12" shouldn't be falling out mate.

Same as me but like everything else I make my own. At the back as well

professionals wear it on the side, so do i.. lol

i only carry a smaller blade if i know im going to need it, and i put it through the loop.. def keep the longer blade in the boab.. shouldnt be falling out? what are you doing when it falls out lol..

I put the blades into these bits on the bucket and about half goes in; so handle, and other half of blades is sticking out. As soon as the bucket swings a bit or is knocked they fall out. I will take a photo and show u.

Think your concentration gong on putting it in the car more than using it looking at your pics set it up to use and then make it fit the car boot could be wrong but seems that way

Ya maybe need to do same as me mate, took off the loop that goes on the belt and put a shorter one on so it sits higher and it's much more stable with no swinging.

Yeah they stick out on all BOAB but mine never seem to fall out so not sure what advice i could give apart from maybe hook a shoe lace through the hole at the bottom and tie it round your leg to stop BOAB from swinging around (but its too much hassle for me! lol)

As the others have said, get your applicator and squeegee in the BOAB and use the pouch for cloths. I wear my BOAB on my right hip and pouch on my left.

...and get a wet leg from when you crouch/bend down from the knee /emoticons/wink.png .

Those Unger pouches are massive....you could fit a bloody bath towel in there  .

If you do-up your belt with the buckle at the back, you may find that the 6" and 12" squeegy will stay in the belt loops and not work their way-out...just an idea.

Just an idea for it to stop swinging around his leg while walking ( said his squeegee kept falling out cause BOAB was swinging about )

Just be carefull when u bend down kid! :)

i wear 2 pockets to the side and my BOAB on the other side i have a 6inch blad and a 13inch in at all times never fall out.

i do want another pocket though 1 for dry cloths 1 for wiping down and one for my spray bottle.

dont wear them to the front you end up looking like mark fowler selling apples and pears;)

See pixs below.

This is the bucket on the belt which I wear on my side. The squeegees have half their blades in this hole on the bucket in the belt and half sticking out. They always fall out. They aren't in deep enough or secure enough. Should I cut a bigger hole with some sort of saw do they go in deeper and the handle goes in?

Thats why mate they're made to fit ninja squeegees, I'd say yes cut the slots further down and a little slimmer.

I take no responsibility for the outcome though but it's what I'd do.

Or buy a couple of ninjas obviously.

U dont want to be putting that 12 inch squeegee in the hole youve got it in there, thats for the applicator, and take the little scraper out of the place its in and put the 12 inch squeegee there.

With the 6 inch u could do what dodger says or what i done was buy a little canvas holder from QD stores only cost a quid and my little blade fits in there a treat (i have that on the oppisite side to the BOAB)
