Anyway would say approx £150 - £200 as can't see the front properly plus fuel for the pressure washer and any travel time too if not local.

yeah i was thinking between £100 to £150

I could do that size jobs all day long for £90 but to be honest those slabs would take a lot take longer to clean properly than most would think hence why I would charge more. /emoticons/wink.png

smurf have you ever heard of people charging per slab?i seen a firm doing them at 99p per flag?

whats your views on this?

cheers

Not heard of that myself and yes thats another way to do it. So how many slabs are on that job?

Just taking a quick look at the back going by the top 2 pics would work out roughly doing it that way just the back at £70. That is all the slab area at the back in line with the back wall of the house.

will have to have a count not sure but i dont think its a bad way to price and you should in theory never do yer sen out of pocket that way of quoting?

Indeed also depending on size of the slabs i guess /emoticons/wink.png

Ether that once you have a good idea how long a job should take you could always quote instead a half day or a full day rate for a job.

id quote 130 for that using a 3600 psi 21lpm washer , it would take 2 hours max plus 20 mins for setting up time etc, if you do that job using a domestic washer you could be there all day so price accordingly, hopefully you get it its a handy job

I like using big boy pressure washers too /emoticons/biggrin.png

What size buffer tank do you use for that beast mr shine?

21 lpm flow rate = 630 ltr of water usage per 1/2 hour so you must be using something like a 1000 ltr ibc tank/ water bowser as a buffer surely?

i use a 240 litre wheeliebin and even in bad water pressure areas it keeps the washer supplied, previously i had a small household bin that hadnt got the capacity so the wheeliebin is great if your need to move on a job

It depends if they want it resanding or sealing or owt - for just a basic clean tho i'd want £150 minimum, don't forget that you're going to have to do the windows too as the spray will leave them dirty.

That does suprises me mr shine as thought even using that wheelebin you would have to keep stopping for it to catch up.

I've not had any ask for their slab joints to be resanded as they usually have morterd joints. Mind you it is always good to point out to customers first that any bad/broken morter witl be blown out of the joints while cleaning. Then that way you have covered your own **** should they try and say that you have damaged the jointing whilst cleaning. /emoticons/wink.png

Good point kips as I always include a free window clean to the ground floor windows & doors etc as part of the clean up procces /emoticons/smile.png

Nice one as to be honest I have not used a 21 lpm beast like that myself yet.

once i fill the bin up before i start then it will keep me going /emoticons/wink.png
