If you have a look at Alex's video

You will see a demo of on glass rinsing at around 2.15.

On certain types of glass (hydrophillic) you can start with your brush on the top left hand corner and tilt it up by about 30 degrees whilst moving it slowly across the top of the window. (If you are left handed you could try working from the right hand side.) The brush will be on its right hand edge so the left hand jet will flow a stream of water down the glass like a curtain and rinse it.

It doesn't work with Hydrophobic glass, so you will have to follow Alex's instructions when you deal with that.

I don't do it like that although that is a good technique

My flow is high and after scrubbing i put the brush on the top of the glass across the top then side to side while going downwards so like a z pattern

No need to mess about and works on hydrophobic glass also

I've seen that done as well. I've used it several times myself. I mainly use that when rinsing a conservatory roof I've cleaned. But I prefer to rinse off the glass.

This is a good reminder post as I'm starting to struggle with on job tiredness, age and health related.

Do you put much pressure on your brush when doing that Davey
No pressure just use the glass to take the weight of the pole to make it easier on the body

I think it takes a lot of strain off the body

Definitely makes a difference with my shoulder issues

With my gardiners swivel resi neck i usually twist the pole also which gives the same effect as a wagtail/excelerator type handle as the brush goes across the glass like a squeegee, not needed but i like it

I pretty much use the same technique.

Scrub from top left to top right then up and down motion. When I rinse I start from same point and cascade it down at 5-6" drops. When the glass is hydrophobic I also rinse the edges down the sides of the pane otherwise sometimes I find it doesn't rinse clean where it beads away from the edge.

Same as Dave B for technique but I use the standard mixed ultimate makes things a lot easier more so this time of year when their is those little specks of stubborn grit/dirt that are a bit stubborn to rinse down off the glass.
