I fitted my first uni valve onto my SLX 27, with an O clip  on hose just above gooseneck, to stop the hose  being pulled through.  All fine,  but i have a couple of jobs where i Add sections to make it upto SLX 40.    ATM i cant do this with the O ring  as it stops me pulling the Hose out  and push back through any sections i want to add.     Have any of you fitted it so you can add pole sections, if so how.

I wish i had a pic to show you.

The O ring is fitted onto my pole hose just outside the opening to the gooseneck fitment going into pole top.

Have you tried a tubeless setup?

Cut your pole hose about three to four inches from where it protrudes from the bottom of the closed pole and fit a JG fitting. Then you can disconnect here, slide your extensions over it and reconnect.

Can't you just feed the other end of the pole hose through the extensions or is the bottom opening on the extension too small?

Don't know anything about univalve but this my tubeless set up exceed sleeve over a rectus fitting trailing out Base of pole so I can add 2 extra extensions on when needed.

I can also cut the pole hose near the bottom ,add a jg push fitting,  then when needed i can just disconect the pole hose , add sections and reconect the hose., meaning no pressure on the pole hose when fitting is at the bottom of pole.  Looking at that pic has given me the idea.

i have a tennis ball etc on the very end of pole hose, to cover my fittings, this is why i cant just feed through extensions .  Too big to feed through.

The univalve is toward the brush head end.  About 12 inch of hose from univalve to brush head the rest is simple.
