Hello

A trolley system is perfect for the amount of window cleaning i do. I'm currently traditional but need to add WFP to my business. A van mount would not be suitable for me.

Ive looked at various systems and read a lot on here. I'm looking for recommendations please for trolley systems.

I will be using a Gardiner SLX pole 25ft with whatever i go with.

thankyou in advance

Third of the price but the PF one is quality engineering and components, is well thought out and designed and looks the part.

Having said that I used it for a year then took the components off and used them for van mount and never looked back.

Hello.

After doing a bit bit more research it might be possible to fit a 350l tank if it doesn’t take up much space?

Any ideas on this, seen a couple online but would rather people in here give me recommendations

thanks.

I can also recommend the PF trolley if that’s the way you decide to go. As said it is a solid and professional looking bit of kit. I’ve been using one for ten years because for me a trolley was the best option for where I work and I’ve never regretted it.  I work on a very large housing estate where many of the houses have no road Access to one side of the house and parking is a major issue in many spots.

How many house cleans can you get of the trolley system?

That's not an easy question to answer as houses and windows vary greatly.  If I earn between £25-35 per barrel (25ltrs) on maintenance cleans then I'm happy. That equates to about 2.5 - 3.5 two or three bed houses on my round.  I average around £30 per 25ltrs.  It will be considerably less on first cleans though .  I hope this helps.

That is about what i earn from 25l also

When i switched to wfp though for the first couple of weeks i was doing 25l per 3 bed terrace or semi

It takes a couple of weeks for you to stop over scrubbing and rinsing and work out exactly what is needed per window judging by condition of it

Though I use more on first cleans, I don't use as much as I used to.  Now I wet the frames and if necessary use a degreaser of some kind, usually virosol, then scrub the frames well without the water running. Next, water on and rinse them off. I then go back to the windows and do the same with them.

On first cleans, I find scrubbing with the water on constantly can sometimes work against you, as it lubricates the brush too much and makes it glide over the dirt rather than scrubbing it loose. Just my experience anyway.
