So plenty to choose. Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

    Employee nightmare

If you have just picked up 50 new cleans (which takes longer) and have a new employee who doesn't know the round and is new to window cleaning it will take a lot longer to get through the work. Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

    Renting out a round

I used to rent work out over 10 years back to someone who I considered a friend but I would definitely not recommend renting out part or full round ever again.I got stung/ripped off. I used to look at the big money men round here who have a lot of rounds rented out ( I'm talking 20 plus renters) and wonder how they did it successfully and the only ones who do it successfully are the one who will just pop up and work for a day unannounced for free to the tenant of the round (to keep a check and to let the customers know who owns the round). The other rules with an iron fist and is a bully. Sent using the http://Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

    Car in the garage

I've just got my van back today after them having it for three weeks. They were only fixing the central locking on it but had to take the wiring loom out and inspect it. Luckily it's a relatively new 15 plate and I could use a courtesy van and used my trolley system. Three weeks in my opinion is a joke but what can you do other than ring them every day and hope they get sick of you. Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

    hose reel

I tried medium sized cable ties but they wasn't strong enough. So maybe the big thick cable ties might work. Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

Not now but I did at first. I had to explain to most of them to give it a chance it will improve with every clean and after the third or fourth clean it will leave them spotless. But i also said after that that they will have all their frames and sills cleaned aswell as part of the process of cleaning them. So the majority were happy with that as they was more for their money. One or two didnt like me leaving them wet but i said its part of the process not touch them after you clean them as you run the risk of leaving streaks. One or two persistant ones asked me to blade it off so i said i will compromise and blade the downstair off.

It was quite suprising how many have took to it and ive picked up loads as not many window cleaners use it. I work a lot on a main road and i always get window cleaners asking all about it but they all say the same thing they like it but are too scared to invest a lot of money into it when it might go boobs up.

It has worked out for me so far as you can do more work as in getting to those hard to reach windows above slippy conny roofs less risks . I have picked up a lot of work since ive got this wfp. Not many windows cleaners around here want to take the risk of buying it in fear of losing customers if they dont like it. But chose to do both, use the pole on everyone then those that dont like it i use ladders. 90% of customers like it or dont mind it as i can clean those hard to reach and not breaking their tileson their roof.
