  7. Also don't forget the days are longer in the summer, I see these summer cleans as overtime in the summer months to pay for my holiday. Don't usually get them back as they forget who they have used so if it's an easy job contact them next summer and remind of your services, charge a premium though. 8. Feel a bit sore but enjoyed this, I found it easier than I thought I would but that's because I had a gardiners I think, I picked up a 40ft pole in my local shop and it was double the weight with no brush or water! Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  9. other

  10. I have my first 50ft job to do this week, I am looking forward to it! Full carbon pole, will maybe try a pic and a message to say how it went! Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  11. Thing with the blocks is that some cleaners don't go across them back to start on next level and across they go down to the next window straight from one above which is what looks like happened here. You can get away with that on a maintenance house but on blocks it's as if the walls are dirtier! Still a bad job if he has come back and not 6 monthly cleans, what floor are you on Kenny? 12. It's area more than anything, I'm in East London, 980 for 10 yr old van! Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  13. Thanks @Pjj top bloke for offer a bit far though, I agree cgh, tbh I was going to sell the pole after first use and buy an ultimate after, I can't sub as I am taking this work of another guy who has always taken the pith on site is well overpriced as he subs out the work and just makes money off them, I have gone on the one that I don't do that, one man band make sure job is done right type thing so need to do it myself , phase one will actually end up costing me money if I do this way but is worth it in the long run. Have either of you or anyone else used the supermax at this height what's it like? Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  14. Hi all, I have been awarded a contract and the plan is to get a gardiners extreme 47 and add on, the job starts next week and my van packed up two weeks ago so I have bought a new van, cut a long story I am brasic! I have about 700 to spend on a pole that would get me 50 ft, the first phase is that height but second is higher so extreme will be purchased but I have a month to save, I can't put this phase off has anyone got a suggestion on what pole I can get, I was thinking of supermax 50 mk2 but is sold out! Anyone used a spotlight from cleaning spot or anyone got any other suggestions? Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  15. Did you trad or wfp from it [emoji23] I went up in one once on holiday one that was attached to a steel rope attached to the ground and when we were up there the wind blew us sideways and the operator was cacking it saying the needed to get us down now, I don't like heights that was enough for me to never get in one again let alone not attached to the floor my knuckles where white holding the basket!!!
