Hello. Popping in to say hello.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of work out there to get mate. Can take a lot of hard work canvassing but knock enough doors your get enough work. Don't make my mistake only built around 300 a week over 18 years. Convinced myself it was harder to get work than it was. Don't get me wrong it's hard, but I pulled my finger out my @rse march 2017 and now I'm pulling in nearly a grand a week. If your hungry enough you could build fast Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  2. IV used that link to sign up to mate. Only clicked it to look and ended up signing up. Should of asked 1st. Hope it's ok? Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  3. I think I'll become a gigalo when I retire from the windows [emoji6] Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  4. Dave I don't disagree one bit with with buying a well established , rightly priced round. The problems there are though is a suitable one for sale where your wanting to work and in my experience the price of jobs. Whenever iv bought rounds they mostly seem to be vastly underpriced jobs. I'm still getting prices up where they belong from rounds I bought a decade ago as you can't buy a round and wack the prices straight up . Canvassing is good . My best earning rounds are from roads IV canvassed. The key is once you've got a round recanvas your roads every year to compact them. Still if I was starting out today I'd use Darren's lead generation then canvass the roads he gets me leads on as people will see me on the road. Then recanvas every year. In 10 years you become the dominant window cleaner on most your roads that way . You've compact work Dave, I'm guessing that's from recanvasing regularly Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app Dave's right about getting some experience with another windy. You'd learn the ropes much quicker that way and then you can make sure your a quality windy. New customers are going to look for quality straight away mate Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  5. If I was you I'd use Green pro's lead generation. By far the best value. When my sister no longer needs a job canvassing from me I'll be asking Darren straight away for continual leads. Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  6. What have you had to do in the end? IV been building hard since april since taking on another lad full time. The cleaner planner in march told me my income was would be around 30k for the year. It's now saying 54k. That's got me thinking I'm going to be in same boat unless I stopped building around the 80 mark, Which doesn't sit good as I want to build as big as I can Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

    Moving to reach and wash

I don't mind losing some if it makes my job easier. Been picking lots of work up lately anyway Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app Thanks green pro. Hot waters gotta be a no brainer then. That's the main thing that's been worrying me. Btw are you doing anymore of them conference days where you show how you gain lead generation? Moving to reach and wash

My way of thinking mate. Shame to many don't do wfp properly. It'll be a hard sell converting a lot of mine. As long as I can perfect the art of wfp before getting out there on my traditional custys i should be fine with most. Wish I knew a good wfp windy near be that I could go out with and learn it. We sure as hell don't need more cowboys in our field Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

    Moerman ( again!!!)

IV been using the liquidator channel contour pro plus red razer rubber and green unger end clips but iv noticed 2 thin lines near the end of where I blade. Do you think that's caused by the green end clips? I also wondered if it's because I had to change one of the fixed ends after dropping and breaking one of the ends? I'm interested to what you think. Thanks Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

    Moving to reach and wash

Yeah we're not getting any younger. [emoji19] makes you wonder why so many do a bad job wfp if can be so good. I'm still concerned over wether it would remove dried bird and spider poo as it can't be seen from ground level. Still will have to make the switch at some point Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app Thanks for your reply mate. Dodging frosted Windows missing frames and leaving smears is the work of cowboys. Does the reach and wash get rid of dried bird and spider muck cus that's my biggest worry if doing its only cowboy wfp work that causes spotting! Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

    Moving to reach and wash

I'v been traditional for 20 years now. I'm 35 now with a much older body cus of all the ladder work. Can't see me lasting till retirement this way I'v been thinking about converting to wfp but it has such a bad name where I work. Does it really do a perfect job? I'm always setting little water spots on wfp work round my area. What about bird muck and spider muck? You can't see that from the bottoms. After 20 years doing the same thing you really do get stuck in your ways but if wfp does do such a good job it's worth changing Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

    Allways watching the Weather

That's always worth £3 and there's a free web version if anyone don't want to pay the £3. If it's that accurate I'll be happy to pay £3 a year Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

    Allways watching the Weather

I'm using the free trial to mate. Do you find it better than AccuWeather minute cast? We do need ones as reliable as possible. I do like how it tells you how bad the rain will be as I'll go out in light rain if I need to Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

    What Age Are You

    35. Really surprised how many youngens there are here. Don't make my mistake build build build while your young and have an empire by the time you reach my age. I wish I'd built like mad in my 20s. Still better late then never Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
