  • When did you start window cleaning?
    Just
  1. Nice little wash

Had a lovely simple clean in the sun this morning before breakfast Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  2. Worx Hydroshot!!!!!

I use the older model at least once a week for conservatories etc. It's easy to stow away in the van and it's up and running in about 2 minutes (including mixing chemicals). Mine more than paid for itself on its very first job and has had probably more than 1000l of hypo etc through it without missing a beat. I just make sure I rinse thoroughly after each job. I do have a dedicated softwash setup but for those on the spot jobs it's perfect. I do have a couple of batteries for it but for applying chemicals I just have it on the low setting and that's enough pressure to reach the top of most gable ends Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  3. Best brush for fascias and soffits

I use an old Vikan sill brush with fan jets. It's bloody heavy but does the job really well. Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  4. Frozen pipes

Thanks buddy. I am finally out and on the windows Sent using the http://Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  5. Frozen pipes

When everything had finally thawed yesterday I filled the tank, drained the pump and all hoses then brought my DI vessels inside. Everything is good to go this morning but just waiting for the sun to raise the temp just a bit before I venture out as I don't want the water freezing on the glass. Morning Lawrence, I thought it might be cold in camelford this morning. Allen valley was a bit dicey lastnight on my way through Sent using the http://Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

  9. Starting out

Hmmm. Not sure what to do then as up till now I've just softwashed patios etc but fancied a new toy Sent using the http://Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  10. Frozen pipes

It's a bit worrying as I don't want to get behind but I also can't control the weather Sent using the http://Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  11. Frozen pipes

It's happened. Went out to the van this morning and it's all frozen from the line out of the tank through to my reel. The van is running so hopefully the heat will defrost it soon. I'm a little worried about me pump though. Sent using the http://Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  12. Starting out

Hiya guys. I am thinking of getting a pressure washer as I keep being asked if I do it. Would a 4 stroke 2600psi 8.6ltr a minute machine be enough to get me started? Thanks in advance Sent using the http://Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  13. X jet hose connection

I use a water genie one as it is also a trolley and it's been great. It was only £100 Sent using the http://Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  14. X jet hose connection

That looks great Den Sent using the http://Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  15. X jet hose connection

It's a water genie trolley/backpack I use. I'm planning on putting a chem resistant pump on it but for how much the backpack cost it has paid for itself maybe 10 times over so I'm not fussed if the pump goes. I just fill the tank with fresh water and switch it on while I'm putting everything back on the van so it flushes through Sent using the http://Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
