  1. Resin tank half full/empty

Is it ok to only fill the di vessel halfway, will it simply last half as long? Basically I can’t afford to fill it and dunno whether to put a fresh 25 on its own or a fresh 25 then topped up with the old resin iv taken out? Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  2. Sticker removal wfp

What are you trying to clean exactly? Residue left from the stickers when the windows are first installed, or windows that have had advertisement/tinting vinyls? Either way a scraper usually does the job for me. Sometimes I’ve found residue that is only revealed when the glass gets foggy (usually shop fronts) for this i just rub them away with some solvent and a cloth. I use nail varnish remover but only cos I found a load of bottles in a hotel room I was cleaning, any solvent should do. Sent from my iPhone using Window Cleaning Forums
  3. HM Digital In-line TDS meter with 15mm John Guest

I’d would also try rearrange your set up. Using extra hose like jordiebarret suggests seems a good idea. I would be concerned that the TDS meter uses accurate measurements of electrical current to measure the water impurity and the extra cable length may affect its reading accuracy. I’m not an expert with electrics though so I may be completely wrong Sent from my iPhone using Window Cleaning Forums
  4. Exciting upcoming review

I use all unger gear for trad apart from one moerman which I got mainly because of trad mans reviews on it. The pole is probably good like the rest of their stuff but I would never risk not buying a Gardiner. And not a Gardiner di, just a bog standard eBay one. The hydro looks nice looking, I also like the way you can stack more units on top of each other but it’s overly expensive to say it is just a di vessel. But if you got it all for under 500, fair enough. And if your not getting paid by window cleaning warehouse then you should be!! Sent from my iPhone using Window Cleaning Forums
  5. Exciting upcoming review

Yeh I have a van mount for jobs that suit wfp. Still trad 90% of my work though. I just don’t get why you spent mega money on a the unger kit when you could of just got standard di vessel and a Gardiner 27. For £300 tops. You’ve gotta be gettin paid for this! 6. How to be faster

You are being a bit of a perfectionist. Essentially detail a lot less. Give the frames a quick wipe with a dry cloth and that’s it. Soap up but dont let the applicator touch the frame and then squeegee right to the edge. Soap the sill and blade the soap away. Detail only the bottom glass of the window if have to. Then give the frames a good scrub down every few months. Sent from my iPhone using Window Cleaning Forums
  7. Fancy this?

Yeh I’d enjoy to do some irata qualifications at some point during my career in this industry. Probably never will though Sent from my iPhone using Window Cleaning Forums
  8. Mini Hozelock Type Connector

No sorry I couldn’t work out how to copy and paste the link from the eBay app. It’s a Chinese copy of a ‘Mobi portable pressure washer’ so just search that and ‘hose connectors’ and you should find it. Or just type the wording in the search bar as it appears on the photos Iv sent. Sent from my iPhone using Window Cleaning Forums

  10. Quick disconnect electrical fittings for pump?

This was from an early start in Newcastle, just froze the pole solid Sent from my iPhone using Window Cleaning Forums
  11. Quick disconnect electrical fittings for pump?

I agree with adamangler, just make sure the pump is not full of water on a night and it should be good. It’s the random dripping connectors, hoses pulled across cold floors, brushes high up in the air etc etc that freeze all the time and are a nightmare Sent from my iPhone using Window Cleaning Forums
  12. Mini Hozelock Type Connector

Yeh this will be a nightmare to source whenever it breaks. My advice would be take it apart and modify it to have more universal connectors. Send us a pic of the Chinese writing though, my bro speaks Chinese and can probably read it if I send him a photo Sent from my iPhone using Window Cleaning Forums
  13. Telescopic Ladders

They bow a lot. As you climb they can flex in both directions. Hard to describe why, but when the ladder is flexing there is a high chance the feet will lift from the ground and the ladder slip from the wall. The cheap ones are especially dangerous. Mind you I still use one regularly. Great for tricky access like balconies, rear of some houses where getting a ladder through the house is a nightmare or anyone you need to take a ladder in a lift Sent from my iPhone using Window Cleaning Forums
  14. ADVICE NEEDED

It sounds like an unfair verbal agreement from the off. Split 50/50 for funding is fine if it's continuous funding of equipment, premises, accounting, utilities etc etc. But never ending years of a 50/50 split for buying a 2k/month round and nothing else?!? He wouldn't have a hope in court! As part timer says if he threatens/enacts violence call the police. But he can't get any money from you Sent from my iPhone using Window Cleaning Forums
