    Accountant

Does it matter where in the country they are? Electronic mail now let’s you send letters and other information down little pipes to anywhere in the world almost instantly! [emoji15][emoji12] I use cleaner planner too and agree makes bookkeeping simple. However as I run my window cleaning separate to an employed job I want the benefit of the experience an accountant can give me. I pay more than my fair share of taxes and need to ensure I’m squeeky clean in my business also. I was always led to understand that some accountants have more experience in certain industries, building, construction or a service industry like ours. 3. Can anyone recommend (someone they use) an accountant who knows and understands our industry? Thanks in advance. DJ Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  4. Yes it’s an optional extra. Winter tyres are a good idea, with chariot spikes on the rims to keep d1ek heads away! 🤪 Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  5. Hi, we are in Yorkshire. During the freezing nights last year we learned that bringing the reels indoors over night prevented those freezing as the frost stat on the heater only stops the pipes from the tank through the heater to the ports freezing. The day we had off due to -5 was a couple of things, first was water was freezing on the glass so couldn’t really do anything else with that and secondly as everyone turns into a complete numpty at the sight of a snowflake we didn’t want anyone driving into our van and taking us out of the game for longer than we could afford! Do you have the blower on your heater to keep the space warm within your van? If you do it might negate the need to bring reels inside. Hope this makes sense. 6. Hi, we use an x-line Webasto 9kw heater. I think the temp display on the controller is for the temperature of the water in the tank/van so to trigger the frost stat. Only true exit water temp is with a thermometer. If you can’t hold your hand under the flow then no way is it only 26C We run at 3/4 in summer and full in winter. Lost one day last winter at -5C Hope this clarifies? Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

    Van mount set up...

Another reason is, as a WFP business we are still in our infancy. I have become quite obsessed with the TDS of our water. Out yesterday and picked up about half a house to much from walk ups so needed to top up some water. We have DI into the van but was aware the last time we changed the resin it was creeping up above zero (we have only just built our static RO, up until last week DI only) So topped up a little from customers tap and fortunately no problems with clean windows. So, I’m going to keep the DI in the van for these occasions. But think it might be better to DI out rather than in? Advice required? Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

    Van mount set up...

I keep getting told that the resin will last longer as the high pressure from the RO kills the resin? Sent using the Window Cleaning Forums mobile app
  14. Hi all, We currently run DI into tank in the van. What I would prefer, as we have just set up a static RO storage at home, is to change the system in the van to DI after the tank going out. Question is this then... because we have a 2 man set up, so 2 pumps, is it ok to have 2 pumps running into one DI vessel or could this cause issues. Also what happens when we only use one pump is there anything to consider here. We also use hot water so from the DI it will then go off through the heater before we make the windows clean. Does anyone else also run a system like this and can you give me some advise as to what is required to make it happen. Hope this makes sense and thanks in advance.
