Best brushes if you start using your first van mounted wfp system for residential work

I suppose you use it universally - not only for sills, but also frames and panes. Or am I wrong?

Best brushes if you start using your first van mounted wfp system for residential work

Hi everyone, I am about to start using a smaller van with 300-400l tank that I want to regularly fill up at a local Spotless water kiosk. I also want to use a UniValve and/or a remote flow control. Most of my customers are residential.  Up to now I have used a BigBoy2 backpack with a 22ft...

How to get a used van with a compatible van-mounted wfp system

Hi everyone. I am about to buy my first pre-owned Partner (or Connect, Combo, Berlingo) along with some compatible van-mounted wfp system (with a circa 350 l water tank) on a limited budget (circa £5-7k altogether). If you were today in the same situation, would you buy the two things (the...

    Faulty Univalve?

@Apw1210, @High-tower, Many thanks, guys. I also suppose the Univalve can be fitted only on the 6mm hose. If I use a 4mm one, I suppose I will need a short piece of 6mm hose plus two 4mm to 6mm adapters. Am I right?

    Faulty Univalve?

Hi everyone, I've just received my first Univalve. But when I try to pull its bottom leg with my naked fingers, it's completely fixed and sturdy, although I would normally suppose it to move between two positions.  Should I try to install the Univalve anyway and hope that the bottom leg will...

    Pole's reach and extended length

Hi everyone, if a waterfed pole has a reach of 20ft, what will likely be it's actual extended length? Perhaps 18ft?

Hozelock, Rectus21; High Pressure, Microbore; and compatibility of various makes and models

Hi everyone.  I consider buying the Water Genie backpack along with the Gardiner SLX pole. I like the Water Genie backpack more than the Gardiner V3 one because the former looks more ergonomic and has wheels.  But it leads me, as a complete wfp newbie, to a more general concern. When I am...

Best poles for combined wf and trad use

Hi everyone. I am just transitioning from trad to wfp. If you do both wfp and trad, do you use some poles in the both ways? And if you do, poles of which materials/makes/other features do you consider best for the combined wf and trad use? Many thanks for any experience and opinion!
