Although I'd use gocardless and have offered it to people who constantly forget to pay (these are genuine people who I know and are not skint or anything, just forgetful. I have had them say they'll sign up, but never have done), I don't think it's the answer everyone is saying it is, a ****...
Hi Daz, yes I remember you on there when you was still trad', fighting going wfp as you wouldn't be any faster, then fighting getting a system and getting a trolley instead lol. People should take more note of you as you've learnt the hard way and now are reaping the rewards. Hope your backs...
I started in 2009/10 with a minimum price of £8 (Derbyshire). I still really have that same minimum price, but unlike then, I only use it on really tiny houses, normally new build 2 bed terraces/semi's with three windows on the front and 2 windows and a patio door on the back. I'd say much of my...
Thank you for taking the time to respond. Yes, what you’re saying makes sense. It costs me very little as in resin usage etc, the costs are in time as in the time taken to refill and/or not doing the amount of work in a day that’s possible. I think a combination of a bigger tank, some sort of...
I have watched many if not all of your videos green pro and you are one of the people who make me doubt myself and/or want to strive to improve myself. I agree, I don’t think for me personally restricting water flow any lower is the answer. It’s speed and ultimately confidence, I think maybe...
This is what I mean with wanting to see a video. People put, I only use X amount of water a day etc. But I’d love to see how they are only using that amount a day if you get what I’m saying. I think to be able to do a full days work on something as low a 200 litres of water a day would be...
Thanks for that. That makes perfect sense. I think I miss someone telling me “that enough” it “that’s too much” etc. I have only ever had one complaint off a customer, so I know I’m doing enough, but not if I’m doing too much lol
I must admit that they are my thoughts about kinking the pipe and the the univalve. When my aquadapter broke it was heaven at how light the pole felt at angles, I swore I’d never go back, I’d get a bigger tank first lol
I must add that I bought the tank back in 2009 second hand and have only their word that it’s a 400 litre one. Starting this topic has made me realise that there is a chance that it’s not 400 litres at all lol. I must measure it!
Mmmmm, I may of been pushing the boat out at 3 houses an hour. I do not really have an area of that compact work all with 3 bed semis, apart from one street which I’m sure I could do 2 an hour comfortably......maybe not 3. I am due there this week and it would be nice to bang them out at 3/4 an...
No, they are not totally water tight, I lose a few drops in the van on the hose lock fittings to the di vessels mainly. But I wouldn’t say it was anything significant.
Yes ive seen you post something similar on the other forum, that’s the good thing about these forums, it makes me question...
I can honestly saw I do not have it set to almost pressure washing the windows. On compact work I could do 2 three bed semis and hour for sure and maybe 3. But I’d use far more than 25 litres per house, I’d probably double that easily.
I will invest in a univalve. But I honestly do not think I...
hi spruce,
i have a varistream and i used to have a aquadapter, but it broke and after it broke it seemed to make little difference to the water use, i kink the pipe between windows and when doing the cills etc. i have always had my varistream on number 4, but lately have been experimenting any...
i had a van with a design not that much different from yours when a first started. i was told innocently months later by a couple of different people that they had seen my van around, but thought i was a builder or something. they knew my name, but not what i did. so i have learnt, if and when i...
Hi guys, i started window cleaning about 8 years ago from scratch. I did wfp almost from day one. I left the trade after a couple of years or so and have now started up again after buying my old round and kit back. I would like to see a video of real time working that shows just how quick a...
