    Red flag customer

I'm similar. To be honest doesn't bother me in the slightest. At most I'll get one in a day, every now and then. Also at this time of year with short nights I quite like it. Gives me more time to breathe.

    calibration solution

You could, you can buy the sensor and amplifier modual, but then you would need a micro controller and some sort of display. In the end the cost would not be that much cheaper and it would take you a while to write the code + solder everything together Easiest solution would be just to by...

    Newish to the forum

We own the work together. So when we work together it's a 50/50 split. We are both self employed. He basically does 3 days a week, and can manage that generally. Some weeks he's not so good so may only do 2 days.

Good idea to drain them when temperature drops below 0. The clear housing will break if to much ice is inside.

Leaky tank, its like condesation but leaking slightly. Correctly used ptfe tape. Wound a few times following the thread clockwise. Any advice please

Need a bit more information to help. Few pictures would be helpful too. Are you sure it is peeking from the tap? And if it is, is it leaking before, after or from the tap gland?

Word of warning - TDS Meters

As far as I understand it, it's gain. I have a TDS probe for Arduino and have been messing with it months ago. So at 0 the probe is not sensitive enough to read voltage across the probes. In fact without a voltage amplifier the voltage difference between 0ppm and 100ppm is hard to read. The...

    Be more efficient

@Iron Giant ant me advertising sxkawng stuff this time lol. @Windowcleaner88. Because it connects at the base of your pole. You can wind everything on the real as you wind in. Using a cloth you can quickly clean the pipe that will run up the pole. It's makes a big difference

Word of warning - TDS Meters

Well the way that they work is with a baseline of 0. Using a high ppm fluid allows for more accuracy.

Word of warning - TDS Meters

One other thought..get some testing fluid. You can always check every now and again if you TDS meter works..you can also calibrate it's as they can deviate a few ppm after a year or so.

    Ro observation

Hi so iv been on pole for over 10 years. And have recently boosted my water production rate so thought I would post about it just in case it could help someone else. I get a out 60 to 70psi at home and use 3 10" members+ prefilters. Anyway I would always get low production rate and ended up...

    Be more efficient

For me tubeless is a must. Reduces a lot of muck draged up the pole as it's cleaned every time wind in. Means I can store several poles in van without lots of tube everywhere from each pole. And makes swapping poles out insanely fast.

Word of warning - TDS Meters

This is why I have 2. I have an inline one on my filters, and a handheld one. I double check once a month to make sure nether has failed.

    Astra van - gutter vac

Generaly.no. it's often at the elbow or because they used very long screws. Most of the time there are no screws so you can get the elbow out without having to unscrew anything. We inspect before we quote and often can spot this in inspection. We have a GoPro and use this on the end of our...
