  3. Hi all, I am looking to start my own business as a part time venture alongside my current full-time job (with the hope to go full time eventually). I have done a lot of research and gutter cleaning seems like a very profitable business if done well, the only issue I'm having is choosing between the choice of gutter vacuum machines out there that all look so similar! Can anybody recommend a reputable product that doesn't cost the earth? Below are a few links for a number of machines I'm considering. Any help/advice on what to look out for would be greatly appreciated! https://www.aquafed.co.uk/product/3600-watt-28ft-complete-gutter-cleaning-system/ http://thecleaningwarehouse.co.uk/genie-vac-package-deal-2-4817-p.asp http://kiamproducts.co.uk/cleaning/kiam-kv80-3-3600w-industrial-wet-dry-vacuum-cleaner-with-gutter-pole-kit.html http://www.guttercleaningsystems.co.uk/3500carbonkits.html NB I would be looking at domestic properties primarily to begin with.
  4. A customer I picked up today asked wether I did a regular service for cleaning fascia boards, he's thinking every 3 months. It's a brand new house so he wants to keep them looking good. If it's done that regular though, it'll take a fraction of the time so I'm going to charge 1/4 of the price I'd usually charge. Do you think generally people would be interested in a cleaning maintaining schedule that'd keep their plastic clean all year round for the price of a yearly clean? Thinking of offering it to all my customers. Full price for first clean and then 1/4 price for 3mth maintenance cleans.
  5. Hello mates, how are you all doing today? I'm a newbie window cleaner 3 months in cleaning windows. Yesterday for the first time client asked me if I can clean the gutters. I agreed, knowing that i've never done it before, nor do I have the equipment for it, not even a ladder. The Gutter is one the Terraced House second floor. Will you tell me what size ladder do I need to get for second floor, and where may I hire one, please? Any other tips are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much
