  1. A lot of solar panels installed a few years ago are looking pretty dirty - a lot of lichen too. Must be an opportunity there as it's going to be affecting output. Is there a risk of electric shock? There's no way of stopping the things producing current, whatever you do to the controls. And what's a reasonable charge per panel outside London if they're reasonably accessible?
  2. Hi My name is Doug and I am new to this forum. Based in Somerset near Frome. I have been asked to quote to clean some solar panels and was wondering how others go about quoting for these?
  3. Hi Everyone. We are running another solar panel cleaning course on 20th February 2016. As per previous courses, this is a business opportunity for those wishing to carry out professional solar panel cleaning alongside our company, the first part of which is training. It is for people who are interested in becoming one of our Approved Contractors. We virtually have full UK coverage now, so only have a few areas left to cover. These include parts of Surrey, South Cornwall, North London, Norfolk, Suffolk, West & North Wales, South of Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland and some areas in Scotland. There will be companies there who are current Approved Contractors, but who now wish to train more members of their staff. To read about our previous courses, please click here: Solar Panel Cleaning Training Event Hailed As A Success Requirements are that you are willing to carry our logo on your vehicle and wear our hi-viz vests on our jobs. The cost is as per previous courses, £199.00 +VAT for the first member of staff and £99.00 +VAT for each further member of staff. This will include a day's training, a hot two-course lunch on the day, vehicle logo decals and hi-viz vests. This has had much publicity on the forum over the last 12 months, so if you have any questions that have not been answered on previous threads, please feel free to ask here. Thank you.
  4. I knew that solar panel cleaning would be a slow burn when I first started my enterprise. But I also knew it would take off in time. 2016 might just be our year: 78MW Of Solar Panels To Be Cleaned Just In 6 Weeks
  5. Hi Everyone. Our latest solar panel cleaning training course will be held on Saturday 10th October 2015 at the Ramada Hotel in Telford. There has been a great deal of interest in previous courses. Please book early as spaces are limited. Prices are £199.00 +VAT for the first delegate and £99.00 +VAT for each delegate from your company after that. We have now have over 55 Approved Contractors covering a lot of the UK. We have just won a nationwide contract for over 100 easy to clean rooftop arrays needing no access equipment etc. They are flat roofs with internal access. Some areas we have covered already for this contract, but we have some areas of the UK that are not covered and a particular need for companies in Norfolk, Suffolk, Surrey, Essex, Brighton, the coast of Mid Wales, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, the Lake District and Newcastle Upon Tyne. If you happen to be in the northern part of the UK, you will see the return on the cost of the training within 6 weeks. We have sites waiting to be cleaned there. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask. Steve.
