Here is a photo of what value you get per metre/ft compared to Gardiner's poles. The two poles against the SLX 22 are both popular poles sold as description "25".

If I had put the SLX 25 against them there would be a huge difference.

Another brand I have measured was even shorter!

You can judge for your self the brands.

Reach & actual pole length are two separate things but some don't make this very clear for sure.

brodex for one, when i was getting more into wfp i got an all 31ft off them only to find 31ft was the working height & not what i needed. they weren't interested when i pointed out they were selling something different to what they said it was
