    Hi people,
I've just bought a petrol powered pump to transfer my pure from my shed to my van. My question is this, is there some type of adapter you can buy that will reduce the output of the pump which is 1 1/2" to garden hose size.

Looks like it has some sort of adapter on it already, maybe 1 inch.

Why do you want to reduce the output flow from your pump.

Not the flow, the size of the output pipe to marry it up to standard garden hose.

The flow rate will be less if you connect it to standard garden hose & more so as I imagine your shed isn't near your van. Have a look at getting 1.5" hose, the speed would be worth it.

Have you thought of flat delivery hose? Have a look on ebay. I wouldn't want to try and roll 1 1/2" hose it would weigh a ton, I'd be knackered before I started.
(Flat delivery hose is like a fire hose)
Hope this helps, That's a good little pump you got there.

Bought 50m of it, you're right, it weighs a ton. Looking for a reel for it to go on now.
