Another day in working till xmas then have a week off

The forecast gave a dry day today (saturday), but I was sat in the car till 11.50. I was so confused.....all my weather apps were telling me that it was fine and dandy outside, but when I got out of the car I had rain lashing me sideways in the face. And why did my ladder keep trying to fall over when my weather apps told me the winds were only 16mph. Anyway, in the end, I got a few done, had a couple of good tips and 2 mince pies to keep me going. Monday and tuesday look well dodgy, so may be breaking up earlier than I thought. Might give me a bit of time to devise an accurate weather app!
