4040 membrane maintainance

Apart from flushing the ro regularly and keeping on top of pre filters is there anything else I can do to look after the membrane, if I don’t use it while away for a few weeks could it dry out and is that bad etc etc?

A few weeks won’t harm a membrane (make sure it cannot freeze).

I have more holidays than Judith charmers (old school reference) and never have a problem when I get back ?
