Hi guys, I have a feeling I am about to lose my job after 8 years, a mate of mine started cleaning 5 years ago after leaving a job he hated, he loves it, on more money than me and NO ONE TO ANSWER TO!!!!!!!!!!

The thing I could do with knowing is while I am still in a job ( 8.30am - 4.30pm ) could I go cleaning in the evening and at weekends or is this something people do not like doing? I would like to try and get off the ground while I still have income.

It's a good idea to start building up your round while you still have financial stability. I'd go for it!

Yeah, I'd say you'd be good to work till 8 until September, gives you a couple of months, plus Saturday's, if you're so inclined

    could you go part time???

I was in a similar situation to you, however I was finally pushed before I could jump!

I'm currently in the process of setting up myself. Its time be my own boss and I cant wait!!

I'm taking my situation as a blessing in disguise as it has opened my eyes a little. If I fall flat on my ass in 6 months then at least I tried. I've got nothing to lose.

But if part time is a no go, then now is your chance whilst its summer.

    good luck to ya :D
