The power of WD40

This may be and old well known trick that everyone knows but i was well chuffed anyway with how well it worked!! Had a 1st clean today where builder had left loads of silicone on a window the people have just moved in and looks like its been baked on for years. I did a quick google search and an American was using wd0. I hate using a scraper so put w d40 on microfibre and started rubbing. 10 mins later its gone and custie is well chuffed said she thought it would never come off. I will keep a can in the van from now on

I've not used WD40 but I do have a bottle of white spirit on the van.
