I should've added that I'm wfp and not trad.

socks lol yeah they are warm as toast.

 
I bought a packet of builders gloves from Aldi they were only a couple of quid. They have been good so far and do the job. Was doing FSG the other day when it was cold and they did okay.

Skytec Argon Xtra , They are loads better than the others as they have a full rubber coating I bought some last year and they have been spot on, They have updated them this year and can be bought off http://ebay.co.uk

 
It's for traditional. 
The best for trad is nitrile Black, they're the ones mechanics use and are tougher than the blue nitrile. they are thin, but will keep your hands warm, while being able to feel everything. Very good. They are not expensive, about £7:50 for 100 (that's 50 pairs!). get the powder free ones.
