Heating jacket for IBC tank

This is true. I would never consider buying one, but there are some who use electric heating elements in their tanks to warm the water in winter so this could be an alternative.

For me, my personal opinion is that its more energy efficient to heat the water you are using, rather than water you aren't. Why would I heat 600 liters in my tank when I probably only use 400 liters? The other concern I have is that warm water rises leaving the cold at the bottom of the tank; the reason why hot water tanks take their hot water from the top and not the bottom. We take the water from our tanks from the bottom where its always going to be coolest.

I would actually buy one if there were £100-£300 as I think they are great.

They do a heating mat. So you lift the tank up and place the mat on the plastic pallet. I think that's something like £200.
