Cut a hole in floor. Fit roller in that hole. Then just fit a roller on a bracket under the van. Just get the angles right, its easy.

ive got a gardiner 4 way roller ready to go in the van floor & was thinking of an L shaped roller to get under the bumper but got told they arent very solid & this fairlead was recommended but i cant for the life of me see how to do it

The 4 way rollers are fine depending on what reel you have. If you have a rubbish cheap reel it will struggle. If you have electric reels the tension will cause issues as well. You will basically just need an L shaped bracket welding under the van and then that roller just welding or bolting onto that.

I would take it to a local welder, tell em what you want. Then let them do it.

actually i prefer the look of your one to the fairlead so have you had any probs with the L shaped one

Not really no, but what you have to remember is. The hose goes through the floor, then into another roller. It all creates resistance. My advice was and is to fit the one you posted a picture of. It will make the setup better. To answer your post on CIU No i haven't had it done, as i am making a radical roller floor system.
