anyone actually getting on roof to clean panels properly? or do you just use biocide?

No we always clean from the ground , scaffold tower , or cherry picker , always use hot pure water and nothing else , biocide will not clean a panel it will only kill organic growth but it will still need a scrub and rinse .

I wouldn't use anything other than pure water as that's what most decent manufacturers recommend,

Also I prefer being on the ground with a wfp so at least the high voltage shock won't throw you off the roof
