I own a graphite Snooker cue but think graphite would be far too heavy for a pole.
i came across a lad on monday using an 80 ft pole, he said it was graphite either from ionics or vyair, base was huge but it looked quite light , ive never heard of it though n cant find anything on google
You sure you didn't miss hear him?
Maybe it was Kevlar?
I believe Kevlar is also heavy weight to size ratio Jake.
Kevlar is actually quite heavy
fishing rods are graphite and they not too heavy
They also aren't 30+ft long
That's why you buy carbon fishing poles
i know nothing about fishing just held a rod once
A lot of people call carbon and graphite the same thing, graphite is made from carbon but they are not exactly the same. I reckon you are reffering to carbon poles
