Is there any difference with using 6mm or 8mm hose

Hey folks just wondering if there would be any benefits from changing from my 8mm to 6mm hose

arguably your pump would last longer as it is'nt working quite as hard

Why would it last longer using 6mm mate sorry for sounding stupid

if your hose is 50 meters long, at 6mm there is less water to push that 50m than at 8mm, 25% less
