Wow, 10 houses a day for £600! 30 a day, £1800! Think you'd struggle to find people wanting to pay that, although some people will prob pay up.

I know companies in Sheffield who charge £48 an hr for home cleaning (slightly different I know) but they get away with it some how.

We might have 10 times the customers as they do, but they only need to do a quarter of the jobs that we do and they turn over the same.

It's all just a numbers game.

At the end of the day I always just think, charge what ever your happy with and don't worry about others.

Don’t know if those particular figures from that firm are real; but the prices are.

Assumptions about pricing are a common mistake that will probably cost just as much as the window cleaner turns over. If you’re a sole trader, do you need to ‘wipe the floor’? You only have so many hours you can work; you might as well fill that time with the best prices.

Profit margin is more important than turnover.

The time taken is usually 2 hours though. So at £35 an hour thats cheap.
