I want to drive to Swindon which is 2 hrs away away and take my window cleaning ladder, I will have to drive on motorways, is this allowed if the ladder is on my roof rack?

I want to get tips on how to use it during training up there.

like marc said, when you finish straping them, just grab them and give them a pull and push to make sure they dont move.

As long as they are secured lengths ways and width ways, they should be fine
