I got the wcw one & it's been great. On eBay if you put in window cleaning backpacks there a chap called extend2wash & he does one for £99. It's basic but works great. Got one of them too.

5hrs will last you all day no bother, mine is 6hrs & ive used it for 2 days before cos i forgot to charge it one night

I use mine for windows I cannot get with a ladder. I don't think most go over 6 or 7 hours which is ample. Yer not using it constantly for 5 hours. That's like the one I got but I got the cheaper one. Same place tho. Mines 18 litre. I use my wcw one most of the time it's got a thing on it that shows you how much charge is left.

Im not fussed about the battery as i will only be using it for backup incase my trolley system ever breaks down and i will also use it for awkward access houses /emoticons/smile.png

But if your going to be using it a lot i think you will need more then 5 hours to go through a whole day ?

To be honest if that's all your going to use ( backpacks) your best idea is to have 2 or go for a trolley system but still think 1 will last you all day. If you put a stopwatch on yourself yer be surprised how long yer actually cleaning windows.

The battery is only going to be discharging fast when the pump is drawing charge. If you use an Aqua-dapter, trigger, tap etc. then the pump may be switched off even while you're cleaning windows. You can hear the pump cut out when the water is stopped in the video on our homepage: http://www.aqua-dapter.co.uk/

We use the backpacks for cleaning and demos and rarely need worry about charging them, they hold the charge well.

a backpack is all i use & never had a charge run out & i once did a 9hr day, as posh said the battery is not on all the time. i imagine it would be a surprise if you timed how long you really spent on the glass & not driving about,having a brew,talking, filling backpack, mooching round asda & i cant get on the internet with my phone thank god lol

Hey dodga I was looking threw eBay and there is a used wfp set up for sale and it includes one of those backpacks..
