Blue plastic sheet on window removal

Hi, 

I have got a call from a potential client. Its for basically the first clean, removal of tapes ect when the builder leaves a new house. They tried to remove the blue plastic that is on the windows to protect the glass and instead of peeling straight off, its breaking into small little bits. AH The lady admitted the cover has being on the windows for three plus years. 

Any quick way to remove this tape or do I just walk away.

I thought the same CM, I was hoping maybe there was some new way to take them off easily. I will contact the client and decline to quote. Thanks for the answer.

It is do able but its very time consuming so price it well ,

My experience is slowly and carefully with a scraper blade and wet glass to help not scratch glass but it is a nightmare job to do.

Not much tbh tried one myself found once it gets warm the sticky is like chewing gum and just as messy to peel off
