when i had a recent booster pump i attatched it just after my main water source coming from main tap,

then going into RO via a 1/2 inch hosepipe.

looking on youtube they all have them installed going into membrane from the last vessel

all using 1/4 in. RO tubing.

is there a right way to this .

this is my normal set-up now. water from DI vessel going outside into water butt.View attachment 3754

what is the recomended way to install a booster pump correctly, is it preffered with RO tubing,

i use a 1/2 inch hosepipe going into RO to give it a better pressure with water going into RO.

what is the big difference with these booster pumps,

collins water products @£49.99

purefreedom @£99

better reviews for the purefreedom ones.

£50 difference

If you upgrade to say a 4021 or larger 4040 ro at a later date none of those booster pumps would be suitable for those size ro's. Then it will cost even more for a decent booster pump.

I have the booster plumbed in between the prefilter(s) and the RO membranes

I tried adjusting size of tube into the booster, but no real difference, so 1/4" is fine

ive just realised, when they say remove pipe from membrane and vessel housing they are saying remove hose,

i wouldnt call RO tubing a pipe.

relief.

back i go

i always think too much
