Even though my ladders live on my van and in truth see little action, I thought the time had come to replace them.

So today I bought a Zarges 2 Section Extension Ladder - 2 x 12 rungs (class 1 Industrial) for £110 inc vat at Jewsons. I felt that was a pretty good deal.

Zarges is a great brand, well made access equipment. I sold my class 1 ladder to a mate, they can't be beat for rigidity, but I couldnt stand carrying it about all day. Not a problem for you since you're wfp though. Should last a lifetime.

Not sure how heavy it is but it didn't feel too bad. It will live on the van so I'm not too bothered.

It would be worth calling in to Jewsons at Crediton Clear View. I thought they were very competitive on price.
