Bucket water in winter

    have any of you noticed ,well i have otherwise id not be writing this

    that just before turning to ice, bucket water turns a tad milky?

    a strange phenomenon, strange but true . ripleys believe it or not

    I've never been standing around long enough to notice but is probably due to ice crytals being formed as snow is white when it falls not clear

    I've noticed this it's crazy, specially early mornings past few days :/

    I have never known my bucket water turn to ice

    Ow I can still remember being so cold one winter I asked a customer for hot water and when she gave me the bucket I stood in it to warm my feet up :( customer must if thought I was mad but I was soo cold lol had to finish half hour later as my socks had ice crystals forming in them lol,, ow to be young and stupid again :)

    You possibly haven't been window cleaning in -3 then because even a bucket of boiling straight from the kettle will be ice in 30 mins

    Been cleaning loadsa times when water has frozen on the glass.....just dont recall the bucket water freezing

    i er...get a new bucket of water at every house...er....i thought i was slow at cleaning one house..
    .now im not so sure..:D



    i have only really seen freezing problems on unheated porches most house windows give out enough heat not that you catch me out in the cold any more...

    I've never had a bucket freeze on me in 23 years and i work in all temps and weather including snow and ice
